B. I don't have time. I spent all day yesterday making my friend a birthday gift, and I ended up not going to her party. And I have assignments, and stuff.

Why this Kolaveri Di?

Why This Kolaveri Di? You must've heard it by now. If you haven't, DO YOU LIVE UNDER A ROCK?!?
LISTEN TO IT! EVEN OBAMA HEARD IT!!!!! 
I should probably mention that I'm a tamilian. And the song is in 'Tanglish', a mixture between Tamil and English. So I understand every single word the singer, Dhanush(son in law of Rajni-Freaking-Kanth, Chuck Norris of India), is saying, which makes me feel awesome. :D Basically, the song means 'why are you so pissed with me?' or 'why are you doing this to me?'

The song is about heartbreak, and come on, EVERYONE relates to heartbreak. Maybe that's why it's so popular. The fact that the tune,the beats and the lyrics are super catchy,makes it even more enjoyable.
So, getting to the point. This song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, a debutant music director. Guess how old he is. HE'S 21!!!!!!! He's ONLY 21 and he's composing music for his first movie!!
I'm so in love with him, you have no idea. He is so freaking hot. And he's super talented.

• First of all, he's Tamilian. You don't find many (read : none) hot tamilians. It just doesn't happen. Anirudh is an exception to the rule. Thus, it is my duty to be in love with him.
• Then, He's AMAZING at playing piano. He can play the drums, too. I Thiiiiink he can play the guitar, because he has very guitar compatible fingers. Trust me, I would know.
• He came with the tune for Kolaveri in 5 minutes. He's a fricking GENIUS.
• He has a bloody goatee. If you don't find goatees hot, you, my friend, are an idiot.
• He can sing. :D
• He watches How I Met Your Mother, which just automatically classifies him under awesome.
• He has a good music taste. He listens to Muse,and Radiohead and stuff. :D
• He's 21. Im 16. He's 4 years, 4 months, 5 days older than me :D
• He did B.Com, unlike EVERY OTHER TAMILIAN. (Tamil Nadu's wayyyyy too obsessed with Engineering.) He can help me with accounts. :D
• He got Mohit Chauhan (Most of you won't know who this is) to sing for him in his first movie.
• He got a 40 Piece Orchestra to play music for his movie, rather than to do everything on keyboard settings.
• He can BEATBOX! WHAT CAN'T THIS BOY DO?!?!
• He used to be in 2 bands. One at school, called Zing, in 9th,10th,11th and 12th grade and another called Circuit at college.
• He knows of my existence.Hehehehe. He retweeted my tweet, after I demanded him to, but whatever. :P

I dont remember anything else, at the moment. I'll update this, when I remember.

Music

Music. What do you want me to say about music? A particular band I used to be obsessed with (still am, at the back of my head) sang, “Music’s in my soul. I can hear it, everyday, and every night. It’s the one thing on my mind.” And they were right. Music IS in my soul. Music is my safe haven. Music is my stress buster. Music is life.  In fact, I was listening to music while I was writing this. I’ll probably be listening to music (albeit in my head) right now, as you read this. I can’t go a day without listening to music.  

No matter what mood I’m in, the music I’m listening to matches it. When I’m annoyed, or sad, or just irritated, I pick up my guitar, strum a few chords, and the music soothes me. When I feel happy, I plug in my speakers to my iPod, play a couple of Thirty Seconds to Mars songs, crack up the volume and sing along at the top of my lungs. When I feel random, and I feel like dancing, I listen artists like Super Junior (Thanks Brasset!), Pitbull, LMFAO, or the very popular Why This Kolaveri Di song. When I’m doing math, or accounts, I listen to music. Music helps me think. Music makes me calm. Music has made me who I am.

Without music, I probably won’t be alive right now. Music is probably more important to me than anything has ever been to me, in all of my existence. In fact, I wake up earlier to watch music award shows live, rather than watch the repeats later, when I’ve never woken up earlier to study. The sad part is, I’ve never been to a concert in my entire life.  I hate myself for that. I promised myself I’d do it before Im Twenty-One, and hopefully, I will.Till then, waking up early will have to do.

The American Music Awards

So today, I ACTUALLY woke up at 6:15 to watch the American Music Awards. Yes, I’m ‘jobless’ as some people would say. 

Performance by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj. Not a fan, but Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift seemed to be enjoying themselves. So yeah, good for them.

Best Pop/Rock/Dance Duo/Band award. LMFAO (Party Rock Anthem, Im Sexy and I Know It! :D ) , Maroon 5 ( Eeee Adam Levine! <3 :*) and OneRepublic (I like them, but come on, ADAM LEVINE.) Guess who won? ADAM LEVINE. I mean, Maroon 5. :D YAY. 

Best Country. Taylor Swift. Bleh, hate her.

Then Sean Kingston came to say Justin Bieber was performing. I was like WAIT A SECOND, DIDN’T YOU DIE?!?!

And then Bieber performed. Bleh, hate him.

The Band Perry Performance. Eh, Twas okay.

Chirs Brown performance, I changed the channel to watch Big Bang Theory xD 

Rap/Hip hop = Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West. Nicki Minaj won. She thanked Taylor Swift, I have NO IDEA WHY. Someone tell me, please.

Oh, and she couldn’t walk. HA. That’s what you get for trying to act like Lady Gaga.

Kelly Clarkson performance. I Changed the channel to watch BBT. Hehe. 

And then there were adverts in both channels. You might’ve noticed I’m VERY impatient. I THINK I have ADD. :/ AND Im bipolar. Man, If I were dyslexic, I might’ve been a demigod. SO anyway, Im writing this during the Ad breaks.

The Vicious Circle of Depression.

My laptop's screwed up, and my bitchy little sister doesn't let me use hers (She's asleep right now :P). AND my dad took away my phone. I miss my phone. It has my music. Also, I like to talk to people when Im depressed. And Im depressed right now. I need to talk to people. Its like the vicious cirle of poverty! Im depressed because my dad took away my phone, and I need to talk to people when Im depressed, but I dont have my phone, which leads to my depression.

OHMYGOD, you're reading this. You are now part of my list of awesome people. That was pretty lame, wasn't it?  Huh. So, uhm, lets talk about the origin of this blog. I always wanted a blog. I just didn't know what I'd do with it. I guess I was always worried about how it would be received. Now, I've reached a point where I simply don't care. So yeah.
DoTheOctopus. You must be wondering WHY I actually named it that. The Octopus is this weird dance move I invented. You wiggle your arms in front of you. Uhh, its complicated. I'll post a video or something sometime. WHY I invented it, I have no idea. It just came to me. I was doing it, and my friend, Malko, goes "You look like an octopus" And It kinda became my trademark, since then. So I decided to use it.
Uhm, you probably want me to talk about myself. I'm really bad at talking about myself, so read my future posts, and you'll find out. :)
