Believe Review

So I spent the last one and a half hour listening to the whole of Believe by Justin Bieber. Like, the entire friggin album. I don't even like him. Then I thought to myself....HEY I CAN BLOG ABOUT THIS.
So here is me, listening to it for the second time, just for the sake of blogging about it. (Also, it's not so bad. He's sounds pretty okay. So. Added bonus)
All Around The World feat. Ludacris
What is up with Bieber doing songs with Ludacris? Anyway. Very dancy. I listen to dance music, occasionally. When I'm in the mood. I hate dubstep, though. (Edit : I don't hate it. I like some forms of dubstep) Anyway. This one is pretty good. Ludacris' rap is pretty hilarious. xD

Boyfriend
Meh. Don't like this one. Also, it's If I WERE You Boyfriend. Not If I WAS Your Boyfriend. And what's up with all the "Swag and Swaggie" and shit? Weird. Also, "while we're eating fondue"? Is it just me or do you smell a Captain America reference there?

As Long As You Love Me
I like this one. His performance at the Teen Choice Awards for this thing is pretty epic. Did you know he is an amazing dancer? Yeah. Good song.

Take You
Okayish. Very Enrique Iglesias.

Right Here (feat. Drake)
*listens for 20 seconds. Skips*

Catching Feelings
I personally like this one very much. It's really cute.  Very cheesy lyrics.

Fall
I liked this one very much as well. Again, pretty cute. Cute lyrics. Good. Okay, Next.
(Are you guys noticing how the comments are getting smaller and smaller with every song? :P)

Die In Your Arms
Name sounds cute, doesn't it? Oh. It sounds a lot like his old stuff. Like, his voice. With a tiiiiiny little hint of Nick Jonas. Lyrics are pretty good. *Looks up lyricists names*  "Jerkins, Dennis "Aganee" Jenkins, Travis Sayles, Thomas Lumpkins, Kelly Lumpkins, Bieber, Berry Gordy, Alphonso Mizell, Freddie Perren, Deke Richards, Herb Rooney" What the actual fuck? How did so many people not ruin the song?

Thought Of You
Too happy. Too One Direction-ey. Ergh. *skips*

Beauty and A Beat Feat. Nicki Minaj
The fuck is Nicki Minaj doing here? Oooooo Nice bass lines. Not bad. Dancy. Oh God, the rap is funny. "Buns out, weiner, but I gotta keep an eye out for Selena" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT

One Love
The name sounds familiar, doesn't it?  He sounds like a kid again. I think he hit puberty in the middle of recording this album. I don't like it very much. *skip*

Be Alright
This one's pretty good too. "Everything's gonna be alright" he says. I hope so, man. I hope so.

Believe
Ooooo title of the album.  This one is clearly for his fans. It's pretty okay. OOOOOO It's a choir! Y'know, the ones in churches. Oh, yeah. Gospel. I like this one. Okay, moving on.

Out Of Town Girl
Dancy. I don't like it that much. He sounds way too autotuned.

She Don't Like The Lights
Camera Sounds. Oh, THOSE Lights? Huh. Okay. I think it's about Selena and how she doesn't like the paparazzi or something.I feel like this one could have a nice music video. It's okay. I think I'm getting tired of this album.

Maria
Ohhhh this one's about the "He Fathered A Child" controversy. "That ain't my baby, That ain't my girl" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Love Me Like You Do
Last one!! Very RnB. Wait. What? Why does this sound like it has sex references? .......Okay. I feel like Beliebers would've gotten pretty turned on by this one. I'm not, don't worry. OH MY GOD. So many references. Okay, Next.

Wait, there isn't any next. I give this album 3 stars. Out of 5. It's not bad.

Okay, too much Pop for one day. I think I'm going to go listen to some Indie music. Or Rock or something. Okay, Bye.

Bubble-wrapped

Let me tell you a story. It is a story of a little girl.
Ever since she was a kid, she was given love. She was pampered. She was protected. At first, she loved the attention. It was awesome, really. She would get whatever she wanted as soon as she asked for it. Some would say she was spoilt.
Then, she started growing older. People around her, at school, changed. They grew up. They started becoming girlier. They started looking pretty. She wanted to look pretty too. But she wasn't allowed. She wasn't allowed to experiment. She wasn't given the freedom. The love and protection had turned into over-protection. There were restrictions for everything. She couldn't put on makeup. She couldn't wear what she wanted to wear. She wasn't allowed to do anything to her hair. She wasn't allowed to wax her body. She wasn't allowed to go out with friends, that often.( Not that she minded, anyway. She was an indoors-y person) She didn't get to do the things other people her age were doing. She wasn't allowed to be independent. Her parents made all the decisions for her. Her life wasn't hers anymore. The over-protection started choking her.
The bubble-wrap she was covered in was too thick. She was in too deep, to get out. It was too late to even TRY being independent, because she didn't know how. She needed to get away, but she couldn't. She fears she will be stuck in the same place forever, like a bird in a Wildlife Sanctuary, which doesn't fly too far from it's home, because it has no where else to go. And maybe, just maybe, she's right.
