A Poem About Math

Why would I care about how long a train would take to cross the station?
Why would I care about how long it takes a man to do his job?
Why would I care about something that tests my patience?
Why would I willingly do something that makes me want to sob?

What is it about math
that makes me feel like crap?
Why would it be a necessity
to test my mathematical ability?

I reminisce the time
when I didn’t have to study this.
Just leave me in my state of bliss,
Don’t make me les mis.

This poem is getting worse
by every stanza.
I’m going to stop
now.
